"In a collaboration between the community and the sun, Solar Collector gathers human expression and solar energy during the day, then brings them together each night in a performance of flowing light patterns."

Solar Collector is an interactive, solar-powered light sculpture set in front of the Region Operations Centre in Cambridge, Ontario. Working closely with Gorbet Design, I designed the circuit boards that drive the lights on each shaft. I also wrote Python software to interface with the sculpture over a ZigBee wireless link and contributed to various elements of the website, including the database and the interactive applet.
